Teddie Boy Bass Charters

Bass seem to be on every anglers catch list. The best time to catch these hard fighting bars of silver is the Autumn and early Winter. Light gear is the order of the day for this species and we fish at anchor or on the drift – normally on the reefs to the west of Porlock bay although they will crop up anywhere in our area of operation.

Teddie boy Charters strictly adhere to the current legislation of 2 bass per anger per day, over 42cm. Any excess fish are carefully released to fight another day.

​Bass fishing trips can be of 8, 10 or 12 hours in duration and depart from Minehead or Ilfracombe harbours.
