Hooked Up LRF is a small family business based the the UK, run by anglers – for anglers!

With the explosion of LRF fishing it didn’t take much time for us to  recognise the difficulty in obtaining reasonably priced, good quality LRF items that are actually stocked here in the UK. It appeared that many items were    “exclusive” to only a few outlets and more often than not  making it  difficult to obtain without traveling miles.

So our journey begins – the mission to supply quality goods at great prices that are available to everyone online!

​LRF (Light Rock Fishing) is a modern ultra lightweight tiny-lure or soft bait fishing style that enables you to target small sea fish with minimal equipment. It was introduced to the UK from Japan quickly catching the interest of all anglers from  the young to the much older angler’s, all of whom who enjoy this form of angling and its most straightforward unaffected form, with no pressure to catch big fish.

​Over recent years there has been a massive growth with LRF in the UK as more and more anglers want to try this multi species, artificial bait and lure fishing pastime.

​The beauty of LRF is its simplicity to get started, a lightweight rod, small reel and very light breaking strain line is used along with micro sized lures and a few plastic baits and you are ready to go.

​The true joy of LRF is its reachability, everyone from the very young to the very old can find small rock pools, breakwaters or piers, where they can start targeting the smaller species that live there.

​LRF really is a sport that all family can enjoy with minimal equipment!
